If you ever sweated before an important test, or choked before an audience, or had a full-blown panic attack before a performance, you probably know what Performance Anxiety feels like. Any situation where you want to perform at your best and are worried about your ability to do so can create performance anxiety. One part of performance anxiety is the body’s physical reaction to stress and fear, or fight-or-flight response.

While you may assume performance anxiety is relatively rare, it's actually one of the most common social fears.
